Terms

These terms cover using abstrahkt.com (part 1) and booking a session with me (part 2). ABSTRAHKT is the music project of Chris Leary ("I", "me"). By using the site or booking a session, you agree to them. Questions: chris@abstrahkt.com.

Part 1. Using this site

The music. The tracks, covers, photos, videos and text on this site belong to me. You can listen, watch and share links. You can't download, sample, remix, re-upload or use them in your own projects without my written OK. For licensing or a custom version, send an inquiry.

Prices. Prices on the site are starting prices in US dollars. Your actual price is in the quote I send you, and the quote wins if they differ.

Links. Links to SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify and other sites are there for convenience. I don't control those sites.

Provided as is. The site is provided as is. I try to keep it accurate and online, but I can't promise it always will be.

Part 2. Sessions and production

1. Quote and booking. You send an inquiry, I reply with a quote that lists the parts, the number of revisions, the delivery format and the date. A session is booked when you accept the quote and pay the deposit.

2. Payment. Unless the quote says otherwise: a 50% deposit to book, and the balance before I send the final files. Payments go through Stripe payment links or invoices, in US dollars. Live performances in Cebu City are paid as the quote states.

3. What you send me. A reference or session file, tempo, key, and a short brief. You confirm you have the right to send me that material.

4. Revisions. Each quote includes a set number of revision rounds (usually two). A revision is a change to what we agreed. A new direction or new parts is a new quote.

5. Delivery. I deliver a rough first so we agree on direction, then the final files (usually 24-bit WAV, dry and processed where it makes sense) by download link. Delivery dates count from when I have everything I need from you.

6. Who owns what.

7. Cancelling. You can cancel before I start recording and get your deposit back minus any time already spent, at my hourly rate stated in the quote. Once recording has started, the deposit isn't refundable. If I have to cancel, I refund everything you paid for undelivered work.

8. Liability. I'm responsible for doing the work with care. My total liability for any session is limited to the amount you paid for it. I'm not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.

9. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. If there's a problem, email me first and we'll try to sort it out directly.

10. Changes. I may update these terms. The version that applies to a session is the one dated on or before the day you accepted the quote.
